  • Rehearse, rehearse, and then rehearse some more.

  • Make sure your instruments are in good working order this includes new drumheads, non-cracked cymbals, properly working vacuum tube, and new guitar strings.

  • Attend your recording sessions well-rehearsed, relaxed, and rested.

  • Map out tempos, tempo changes, and song structures ahead of time.

  • It is always a good idea to have a producer on your album.
